Don't be concerned, just ask the question. If some 8000+'er responds like "That was covered in thread # 6,248,973 back in August, 2001. What is wrong with you?",
he/she is just showing off to the other regulars (sort of like chest bumping or whatever they call it). In fact, I will help you out here by asking the same question just asked to make you feel more comfortable.

Why is the search tool disabled? It would be very nice if I could search instead of asking a question that has been asked before, then have some 8,000 + posts regular insult me in their response.
