I think your describing a situation where the Team A player is blocked from
releasing the ball on the shot. It that case, you'd have a 'held ball'. See 4.25.2
If, by some chance, you mean that the Team A player had
released the ball on the shot, then regained the ball with two hands, while the defender put one hand on the ball - you would have nothing, unless, truly the player with two hands on the ball couldn't get it away from the player with one hand on it without undue roughness.
