I had a player ask me this the other day.

When inbounding the ball, can you legally just shoot the ball without someone on the court touching it first? I thought "No, because the clock doesn't start until the ball is touched by the pass receiver inbounds."

However, there's a running clock in this league, so the clock continues to run even when a ball is taken out of bounds. My guess is still that you must pass the ball to a player inbounds and then she can shoot, right?
