First post as a parent of daughter playing NAIA (moving to NCAA D-II next year) and hoping to be coaching again in the next few years. I learned (embarrasingly midway through this season) that there were several rules changes, especially in the womens game. I was wondering for the typical fan/parent, how would you suggest that we keep informed of the rules changes.
Some like the kicked ball and not resetting the shot clock, closely guarded, post play, etc. were some that I was not aware had changed and to me they sort of fell into the 'thats the way has been for a long time' mentality (which is probably not right) but had me confused when some calls or no calls were made. Just looking for suggestions to help us un-enlightened fans of the game.
(BTW, I would coach for free, but there is not enough money in the world to do what you guys/gals do...I mean that as a compliment.)
