I believe they are in IL, I haven't heard anything that says not to, however I would argue that if you are wearing one, your partners should be as well.
I seen a new official this year have the IAABO patch on his shirt and he didn't know what it meant or anything. Sounds like a mis-understanding whenever he placed the order. Somewhat of a bummer, cause now he has to order another shirt and that one is useless to him.
