Agreed. What about at (not before or after) the last association meeting? Was that (mostly) basketball or was it a large part "other"? Is this forum (or should it be)more like a social gathering or more like an association meeting?
The fact is that there's no "right" noise-to-signal ratio. Some might say that even one off-topic post is one too many. Others might say that "anything goes."
I'm merely pointing out that one poster (at least) thinks the ratio is now too high, and that I agree (and think that it's trending higher).
