Anyone else excited that Cuba is now being allowed to come to the USA to participate in the World Baseball Classic? IMHO it wouldn't have BEEN a World Baseball Classic without them.
In 1999 I did the Junior Olympics in Canada (17-18 yr. olds), and SIX Cuban players defected during the games - one went to the lockerroom during a game and never came back!
