Lightbulb Canadian Ruling

[I know NFHS was specifically asked for but what they hey...]

A. Dual foul. Team B and A both have options to accept the penalty or decline. Team B must choose first since the Team A foul occured first. Results:

1. If the hold in the EZ and the Blocking from the Rear are accepted, balance the two penalties at PLS (10 for hold and 15 for BFTR) to net a 5 yard gain. So repeat 3rd down and 5 from the A10. If the block was an illegal block and not BFTR then they would both be 10 yard penalties and the net would be 0.

2. If the hold in the EZ is accepted and the BFTR is declined (would not happen) then we have a safety and Team B can choose to kick-off from their 35, scrimmage from their 35 or have Team A kick-off from their 35.

3. If the hold in the EZ is declined and the BFTR is accepted then it we would apply the BFTR at PBH of the blocking foul so B 1st and 10 at the A 17 (or A 12 is it is only an illegal block).

4. If both are declined then we have a TD for B.

B. This is not a dual foul. Assuming the Objectionable Conduct is accepted then we have:

1. If Team B accepts the hold in the EZ, then we have a safety with Team B choosing to kick-off from their own 25 (with 10 yard OC applied), scrimmage from their own 25 or have Team A kick-off from the A 45.

2. If Team B declines then we have a TD for B and we will apply the 10 yard OC either on the convert or the ensuing kick-off.
