Same in Oregon. This, in some cases, can be a big penalty.
Example: A varsity starter plays in a JV game (for whatever reason) and is ejected. It happens to be the last game before Christmas break. The Varsity team is schedule to play in two 3-4 day tourneys over the break while the JV team's next game is after school starts back. That player will be ejected until the JV team plays another game and will miss all of the Varsity's tournament games.
The same goes for coaches. Imagine a varsity coach in the same situation (the JV coaching staff all have the flu) and is helping on the JV bench and gets tossed. He'll miss the entire tourney.
