The actual line is the inside edge of the boundary line that separates the court from OOB. It doesn't matter if the boundary lines themselves are 2" wide of 5' wide. The OOB area begins at the inside edge of the boundary line. It's practically impossible to bounce a ball on this inside edge and not touch the floor inbounds.
