I agree. The rule book states that it should be a technical foul. But like you said in your previous post, there are many rules that officials let go because the intent was not intentional, but merely accident. My team did receive the technical foul and I was showed the reason why in the case book. Since it was an official's error as well as the coach's, an aware ref would not have administered a technical foul.
