After dinner a few of us wanted to get together for one last drink so we went to a bar. A Philly radio station has a show called "unnecessary roughness" which features Trotter in a call-in show for sports radio. I happened to have the December edition of Referee magazine in my car. He had no idea that such a magazine existed and his face was priceless when I showed him page 35 where he's featured in the "They said it" section where he talked about how referees should get fines.
He read the caption, laughed, and autographed it! He asked us of we did things like "make up calls" and that kind of stuff. He said who are the high school officials here? Of course I pointed out the 10 of us who were there and he had a little fun with us. A good way to end the season.
