The 2002 rule changes that are posted on the NFHS site are the ones listed in the book. Funny thing, the proof readers missed one (at least) - the book shows these as rule changes for 2001. The web site has them as 2002. This year, there are 3 books -rule book, case book, and umpire's manual.

ASA, Fed, and NCAA are now working on using the same set of mechanics. That's kinda strange, I've been using the same all along. I understand that the 2002 ASA rule book will not have the umpire mechanics section. That will be put into a second book. Guess that will be anther book that our local commissioner doesn't hand out - getting rule books from him was like pulling teeth. You'd think that the cost for each book was coming from his pocket.
