A very practical comment but not one that ultimately answers the essence of the original question; Does the BR entering the dugout, IN FACT, remove force plays the moment he enters the dugout, notwithstanding whether the umpire notices it or not?

That's the whole issue!

And, if you read the very first post in this thread, it would very difficult for the umpire to claim he didn't know the timing.
