In this situation as well as others, remember to always penalize the fouls and judge the events/plays ast they occur.
Shot in the air. Foul by non-shooter does not make the ball dead, so basket is good. Call foul immediately if shot was no good. You don't want to wave off a put back.
Penalize the common foul on non-shooter.
