NOPE!!! That's not the correct procedure!
The case play is 3.4.15 for your reference.

That player is to be directed to tuck the shirt in and shoot the FTs with the lane cleared and the opponents will be awarded the ball OOB on the end line following the shots, additionally the shooter will be directed to leave the game following the FTs.

If the player refuses to tuck the shirt in when directed to do so by the official, he should receive an unsporting technical foul. He still has to shoot his two FTs, following his compliance with the uniform rule, and then the opponent will shoot.
If he continues to refuse after the first T, then a second T will DQ this player and his sub will now take his FTs, but the opponent will be shooting FOUR FTs, so is that really worth it to this team to get a better FT shooter to the line? I highly doubt it.
