I have a bad habit of chastizing myself verbally when I do something dumb. Hit a bad golf shot: "Jeez, Chuck, you
suck!". Lock the keys in the car: "I am such an
idiot!" Stuff like that. One day, when my daughter was about 2ish, I took her upstairs for her nap, but left her blanket downstairs. I told her I had to go back and get it and she says (of course), "Daddy, you a idiot."
Couldn't get mad at her. She was right!
