Just a little clarification on Wisconsin's pre-game setup from last year.(2000-2001) When the JV game was finished, the clockkeeper put 5 minutes on the clock. No teams were allowed to enter the gym until after the 5 minutes expired. This was done mainly to allow the JV to leave and Varsity to enter, with no interaction. Apparently, there was a problem somewhere where a fight broke out between rival schools. After the 5 minutes, they would put 20 minutes up, and warmups as normal, with captains/coaches meeting at the 12-minute mark. This is what they changed for this year. Only three minutes first, with the captain/coaches meeting during this time. Seems like they were not worried about the interaction between JV and Varsity teams.
