Hey, Z - you mentioned your golf game got decent after the surgery. I might consider having the surgery if it'll help my game. Do you walk or ride? I'd be curious if the walking helped you out at all, instead of running?
I could never afford a bridectomy. I don't think I'd do well if I had to "live in a van, down by the river."

Actually, walking a bunch of golf courses this summer seemed to be real good therapy for my achilles. Not enough to stress it, but kept it active. My doc actually didn't endorse golf as part of my rehab (he thought the twisting might put a little stress on the achilles), but I would have had to check into the mental hospital if I didn't do something! Broke 80 a few times this summer (never did that before).
