What are your toughts?

My thought is that this is too broad a stroke to paint. I have never had a problem going to a partner for something that I may not have had a good view.
However, to say EVERYTHING means either your boss wants you to take care of his/her headaches or doesn't understand.
This weekend, I had an obstruction call only I had an angle on, but it was obvious from the stands as I found out later. During a run down, the runner needed to run around F5 (without ball). The runner was put-out immediately afterward while returning to 3rd base, so that was the award.
The whole team and coaches just couldn't believe they lost an out and wanted me to ask for help. I wouldn't go for help for two reasons. My partner at the plate wasn't in a good position and it was a no brainer that was easily recognizable.
Under your bosses direction, I would have been expected to go for help just for PC. Sorry, not happening.
