I have been named to the Oregon Athletic Officials Association Baseball Mechanics Committee and we start state meetings in September.

Fantastic, Tim! Congratulations. Probably aren't many that are as qualified and damn few less that could be considered more qualified. I'm sure you will make good adjustments/changes. I look forward to hearing what they are.

Fall ball starts the first Saturday in September so I will be training and evaluating 3rd and 4th year umpires that work that.

If you live in the right location, the activities never seem to end.

Just building a list of new gear to buy over the winter.

I also have been developing a wish list - thinking about a new mask, probably some plate shoes, and some new pants. Nothing too spectacular - guess I'm not dreaming big enough.
My first games are Friday morning: Wyoming vs. Alaska and then Oregon vs. Washington. It's going to be sweet!
