Association membership does not have to do with just where you live in Illinois (As it appears it is in other states. Sorry Camron). You can join any association you like, except the "white jackets." You have to be invited into that association based on their requirements. It does not matter what those requirements are, you just have to be invited. After being invited you cannot be a full member unless fulfill more requirements and the white jacket is a sign that you are a full member. In every other association in Illinois, you join if you can pay the dues.
BTW, CCA jackets are not allowed. Most officials that have been around for any length of time wear a jacket with the IHSA logo on it. You can buy those jackets through Honigs and some other licensed dealer that can sell the official IHSA logo.
