Question

When should intentional fouls equal ejections? In last evening's game, which was the most dreadful of games, the ball was all over the place and bodies were flying. We tried to do our best to pick out the ones we need to take, as a matter of fact we shot 66 free throws. Down the stretch (2 min.) the losing team (Team B by 15) steals the ball and goes in for a layup. Winning team player (team A) chases the kid down from behind and intentionally fouls the kid. My partner makes the call, we got kids all over the floor, and a timeout before we shoot, we ge together and talk about the play. The next 1:10 we continue to call the game the way we had all night. During that time Team A starts to turn Team B over a number of times for dunks. At the :49 mark Team A is going in for yet another layup and the player on Team B extends his arm to shove player A, retracts it, and then shoves him anyway. Should this have been an ejection??
