Actually Matt, you are correct that it is not a backcourt violation, but incorrect that B1 was the last person to have touched the ball in the frontcourt. If A1 jumps from frontcourt and touches the ball before either A1 or the ball touches the backcourt, then A1 is the last to touch in frontcourt.

The reason this is not a backcourt violation is because the ball never entered the backcourt.
