While I, on the on the other hand, believe that those who make a living commenting on baseball should at least have the intelligence and training to use proper terminology.
Alas, in this disagreement, Tee is much closer to the real world. So many of the on-air air=heads really don't know the difference between a foul tip and a foul ball.
However, Tim and I agree on the larger issue of "internet umpires." A recent example ocurred on a private list we both belong to. A debate over how often to "give the count" involved over 200 posts.....sheeeesh.
