That's me--- Otis Schmeckpepper. I was high scorer that year-- 3 ppg.

Oddly enough, there was a teacher at this school in the 50s and 60s whose name was Schmeckpepper. I don't remember his first name, but it very well could have been the same guy.

BTW - probably the most famous basketball player from this high school (not me - since I didn't play basketball in HS) is Jerry Colangelo. The most famous baseball player (not me - since I didn't play baseball in HS) is Jim Bouton.

FYI - I played football (sort of - I was a kicker) and tennis.
