Perhaps they knew you bought the wrong size so they knew they were going to have to ship the right size later.
Speaking of which, I just shipped some pants back to the OC because I bought a size to small, I'm fater than I think, so we'll see how that goes and I'll be sure to keep you updated.
The first time I ordered something from OC they gave me the wrong tracking number.
