Actually she says "our coach (my husband)" in the 6th sentence of the second paragraph of the original post of this thread. In any case my guess is that even if you had seen the indicator, you wouldn't "notice" it.

And aren't both of you being homophobic to assume the this is a man-woman marriage. The writer could be gay, you know? That could have been what touched this incident off. The board member was engaged in a form of gay bashing.
