opinion question. In my Assoc we are emphasizing keeping the batter in the box if he does not make a legit attempt to avoid an inside pitch, per FED, and thats fine...some of my best 'discussions' have come from my interpretation of this rule
However, when a batter is hit on a pitch that skips in front of the plate (hits him on the bounce), are you FED guys more lenient on those along the lines of, "once it hits the ground NO ONE knows where it might go," or is it all the same to you?
Just trying to sort my thoughts on this.
