I agree, Mick. I can think of a handful of things that would require immediate notification. Does it look bad? Yup. I'd do everything I could to avoid answering it during a live ball. However, I have to assume he feels the same way and only answered it because the situation required it. The fact that the table had been answering it the whole game tells me he was trying not to have to do that himself.
Unless I heard him talking about a hot date during this, I'm cutting him some slack.
