re: Sparks/Torbert 'no-foul'

Bball Junkie – I take issue with your assessment of the UK/Sparks shot.

Based on the number of meaningless, no-harm-no-foul, touch fouls that officials call on countless fast-break layups, that was OBVIOUSLY a foul on Torbert during Sparks final shot. Anyone with a modicum of basketball knowledge could see it. I mean, the guys' body actually changed direction in mid-air. If that's not a foul, then there's never been one. I don't care what officials say – they cannot justify calling some of the crap fouls they call, and in good conscience avert their eyes on that Sparks shot. I'm not a Kentucky fan – just a basketball fan, and I would be cryin' in my beer too if my team were affectedby such a play. I could see that foul with my EYES CLOSED!

I'm sure Kentucky fans will 'get over it' and get ready for next season. But losses like that hurt – especially when there is a legitimate gripe about an obvious 'no-call'.

Be more objective.
