re: Sparks/Torbert 'no-foul'
Bball Junkie I take issue with your assessment of the UK/Sparks shot.
Based on the number of meaningless, no-harm-no-foul, touch fouls that officials call on countless fast-break layups, that was OBVIOUSLY a foul on Torbert during Sparks final shot. Anyone with a modicum of basketball knowledge could see it. I mean, the guys' body actually changed direction in mid-air. If that's not a foul, then there's never been one. I don't care what officials say they cannot justify calling some of the crap fouls they call, and in good conscience avert their eyes on that Sparks shot. I'm not a Kentucky fan just a basketball fan, and I would be cryin' in my beer too if my team were affectedby such a play. I could see that foul with my EYES CLOSED!
I'm sure Kentucky fans will 'get over it' and get ready for next season. But losses like that hurt especially when there is a legitimate gripe about an obvious 'no-call'.
Be more objective.
