You're saying exactly what I was saying. The catcher aims at his target. And that target is never the runner. It's always a fielder taking the throw at 1st base.

If a throwing lane has been established, then the catcher will throw a bullet directly to the fielder with no consideration given to the BR.

I'm not sure how you misunderstood what I said. You start off by saying that I don't get it and then go on to say almost exactly what I said.
