I am a big fan of the CMG because I chew the heck out of my whistles. The newer ones are much better than the older ones in their design. They do fray, and I highly recommend soaking them in Listerine over night every week or two cause once the cushioning starts to separate from the whistle, spit gets in there and it can get nasty. Plus, I always enjoy the taste of a minty fresh whistle!
