I'm confused (which is usually my normal state).
I think his title referred to being bored, so he dreamed this one up. Interesting question, but everybody knows that to generate any really interesting discussion, it's got to happen with 2.8 seconds on the clock. With 2.8 seconds, then you're looking at a possible do over.
Ya, but if it happens with 1.0 seconds, and the other coach quickly calls timeout while the ball is still stuck in the hoop, and then the timer erroneously lets the clock run down to 0.0, are we putting time back on the clock?
Depends on whether Rick Hartzell thinks putting time back on the clock will help or hurt the East Bumfluck Half Empty Spit Buckets, who are competing with his employer's team for the last tourney spot.
Also, whether there's a Watery Tart with a Sword on the bench.
