The two biggest things that I have noticed are the higher number of calls that come from the Lead especially across the lane in the Center's primary and the tendency to pass on collisions in the paint when a player control (or team control) foul would be the correct call. Specifically, I saw the pass and crash no called several times...
I, too, would agree with most officials on here about the veterans calling wherever they please. However, I will also add this: They have earned the right to make calls wherever they need to in order to manage the game in whatever manner they see fit!

I have been a college official for 2 years now...working at the D-III & NAIA level. When I work games with more experienced college officials, or when I go to camp with D-I officials, I know my place...and that is RIGHT IN MY PRIMARY! When I work with guys on my experience level, I understand I can go a little outside of my area to get things I think need to be gotten.
