I guess I qualify! Around these parts(Texas), softball is pretty much a year round sport. There are spring leagues, summer leagues and fall leagues. Usually, for about five weeks in the winter I don't umpire, and for about the same amount of time around August. Other than that, you can work about as much as you want.
