Thumbs down

Ok, while I admit being a softball junkie I do occassionally take a look at the baseball threads/articles. And while some things may cross over I have to comment on the most recent article concerning "Plate Work Success". Is this guy crazy? Adjust the strike zone to comments ? Adjust your zone for the catcher ? Reward the batter? What kind of respect for the game or the players is being taught here? While I'll have conversation by limited standards with the catcher because we do have to work together I haven't ran into to many that want perferred treatment. Not the good ones anyway. It's also a good way to get into a pissing battle between teams, parents, coaches and anyone else that wants to take a shot. I'm there to have fun as much as I can while calling a fair and equal game to the best of my ability and with in the quideline of the rules. Anyone else read this article ? Any comments ? Am I looking at this wrong ? PS Don't get me wrong to the effect that I won't learn from comments and that I'm against change or learning something new, I learn from this site everyday, I just don't agree with this articles timing of these changes..
