Professionalism is different to different people. What we try to discuss with our group is basic. Accept an assignment, honor the assignment. Be on time, ideally 60 minutes before game time. Be in good shape mentally and physically. Know your limits (level of play and number of games). Keep casual conversation with the crowd to a minimum and preferably not at all. You are not the game but a function of it. Wear your uniform right, keep YOUR shirt tucked in, shoes clean, pants pressed (hopefully they fit right), hair combed and maintained (facial hair if any too). Have a good time.
