Was A1 in the front court when the right foot left the floor?
Was A1 dribbling because the ball was released?

Key thing here: the minute he lifted his right foot the ball had frontcourt status, even though it was to start a dribble. As others have stated, 3-pt rule only applies to someone who is
already dribbling. Swtich this up to the guy lifting his left foot first, and he's clear.
