I'm new to the fast pitch game, so I'm not an expert on this DP/FLEX situation, so I could be wrong on this.
First, let me make sure I understand what you are saying. In the above situation, Donna was the DP and was replaced on the bases by the FLEX. We are now down to 9 players and there is no DP. Do we still have a FLEX? The FLEX is now playing both offense and defense and is batting in the 3rd spot. If Patty bats the next time up, then she has replaced Felicity, correct? We are still down to 9 players and there is no FLEX/DP at this time. Correct? Or does Patty become the new DP and Felecity then returns to the FLEX position?
If not then how do we get the DP/FLEX positions back in the game?
