So let's see... I replied to Rich about the support wire issue. Dan said that I must not have read any posts. Then you agreed that I didn't read any posts because there was nothing about support wires. So I point out that Rich mentioned support wires. So now you're telling me that I should have replied to Rich. But Rich is who I did reply to. Hello? Anyone there?

Rich was the only person talking about support wires. You used that Rich's comments to throw out what everyone else was saying. Of course you have that right, but that was not the main issue for why people were advocating looking at the rim. I completely disagree with Rich's point of view about looking at support wires and calling BI calls.
That is the reason that Dan said what he did from what I can see.

Oh, for ****'s sake....I NEVER, NEVER advocating turning your head and LOOKING for BI or for support wires. My POINT, lost in all of this, was that you don't ignore something blatant just because you think that someone will nail you later for fishing outside your pond.
The support wire example? My partner, in the locker room, after I almost had to ring up a head coach and instead took a ration of crap because I knew I probably kicked something, told me it was clear the ball changed directions "up there." He didn't call it because "it's not my call." I'm sorry I expanded this thread beyond its original scope -- I thought the plays I included were relevant and I guess they weren't.
