Suppose a coach has two players on his bench that are not in the book for that particular game for reasons of injury or sickness. The game is going his way in a big way and wants to sub one of the players to give them some experience. He alerts the officials during a dead ball of his intentions and understands the team will be charged a T for the change in the book. Later he wants to sub the other player that is not listed. Rule 3-2-2
After the 10-minute time limit has expired a team is charged a MAXIMUM of one technical foul regardless of how many infraction are committed.
