In the game I called last week, seniors not to high league, number 2 against 3, there was this guy who used to play profesionely. He's 42~44 but still a decent player, you know the kind. Well he managed to get 3 fouls in the first two quarters, and isn't in it so to say. Been commenting at several calls but nothing too bad.

Halfway 3rd qtr. he comes in and gets blocked on his first shot, a little chest to chest contact but really nothing to call and the sound of the ball beeing blocked hard, so I thumbed up, hear him moan and move up field. In revenge he very obviously fouls the guy driving towards him. I call it. The guy start shouting:"so this one you do call?!"

T, no hasitation, 5th foul so within a minute he was back on the bench for the rest of the game.

Should I have been more leniant towards this guy? How do you guys go about this?

(His team won btw)

Its a men's rec. league. You aren't paid enough to put up with his horse manure. Don't lose any sleep over it.
