I think one of the funniest things that can happen with subs is when the official is on top of it, and right after the horn beckons in the sub, the sub notices it, but the coach misses it and tells his player to wait for the referee, then the player tries to tell the coach that they were already beckoned. The look on the coaches face can get pretty funny
