Annnnnnnnd their games are seen by about 10 million people on an average weekend, more in the playoffs. So of course any mistakes they make are bigger.
Also, someone who makes a mistake in one of 1,296 National League games over the course of a season will see it blow over eventually. Ask Don Denkinger if it blows over if it happens in the World Series.
