There was an e-mail that went around years ago that showed that in the time that it takes a man to visit the freshroom, Michael Jordan earned $22,000 (from slary and endorsements). $300,000 while watching a movie, $6,000 for every point he scored. You get the idea.
Then it said that Michael Jordan would have to play at that level for something like 193 years to earn the same money that Bill Gates is worth.
The moral is STAY IN SCHOOL!
(Granted these numbers may not be totally accurate, but the concept is valid.)
I too love football, but we have a doctor shortage in Ontario. I would rather see that taken care of than have yet another new football league, complete with 10 teams around the province, started up. I would love to know that the children studying math, science, art, politics, religion, and music are doing so with up-to-date facilities and resources. I want our health care program to stay. I want the fat cut from government salaries and spending procedures. I want a cure for cancer.
