Congrats on your first game and happy birthday!! You're off to a great start!
You've already received the answers to your questions so I won't add there except to say that the more you study your rules book the better you'll be able to deal with such issues. It can be tough when you have two rookie officials. I remember how THRILLED I was to work with a veteran official when I was starting out. You'll get that same thrill too, and when you do, I'm sure he/she will have lots of VERY constructive tips. It's a terrific way to learn!
