As I remember—possibly incorrectly—ASA had banned the Miken Ultra shortly before the tourney, but Miken had threatened to sue the tournament if they also banned it. Apparently this suit has been in the courts for the two-plus years since the injury, so I don't know how I avoided being named in it.
