And this is why I like working in Illinois when I can -- 3-whistle crews. My first game was a juco men's game tonight ($80 3-person, which wasn't bad considering I was gone, done, and back home in less than 6-hours ). My first three HS games are also in Illinois (3-person) and the conferences pay the same game fee as the high schools pay per official for 2-person in Wisconsin.

Once you've gone to three you really don't want to go back if you can help it. I'm hoping that the state pushes the transition to 3 as quickly as they can.
