The best one, 4-man crew, i'm the LJ deep covering a field goal. In Canada, because the uprights are at the front of the endzone a missed field goal is live unless it crosses the dead ball line.
The covering member of the recieving team is standing right beside me when he asks, "What do I do if he misses it?"
I guess with our society's domination with American football, a lot of people don't realize Canadian football is different.
I got a bit of a cheap laugh out of it. Not when I was explaining it to the player, but in the car with one of the other officials on the ride home.
